Chemical bolts consist of a chemical adhesive tube, bolt, washer, and nut. 

The bolt, washer, and nut are generally made of galvanized steel or stainless steel. 

The chemical adhesive contains reactive resin, curing agent, and quartz particles. 

Chemical bolts rely on the combined action of bond strength and mechanical interlocking force with 

the concrete to resist pull-out, and the bolt itself to resist shear. They are mainly used at the connection 

between new and old structures. Calculations of various mechanical properties must be based on the 

data provided by the manufacturer, as different manufacturers produce different chemical adhesives, 

resulting in varying bonding capabilities. There are many brands in mainland China, but their quality varies; 

their performance must be carefully verified before use.
