 have a 90-degree conical head, similar to common wood screws. 

The head has a tool tightening groove and comes in slotted, Phillips, and hexagonal shapes.

Product Function: 

A 90-degree conical recess is machined into the surface of the mounting hole on a connector. 

The head of the flat machine screw fits within this recess, flush with the surface of the connector. 

This type of screw is aesthetically pleasing and is used where a slight protrusion is permissible.
